This Vancouver Special renovation for a young, vibrant family of four was a chance to blend modern functionality with a timeless, lively interior design aesthetic. Our vision: a home that feels welcoming, personal, and tailored to the family's evolving lifestyle. Organic textures, vintage-inspired finishes, and soft, inviting edges gave us a space that balances comfort with style a home that combines everyday practicality with lasting beauty, built to grow with the family for years to come.

Vancouver Specials are known for darker, more confined layouts with limited natural light, and this one was no exception. Our primary goal for this renovation was to transform the space into one that feels light, bright, and welcoming ideal for family gatherings both large and small. By reimagining the layout and carefully selecting materials, we introduced openness and airiness throughout the home. Natural light now floods the main floor, with a soft, bright palette enhancing the overall warmth of the space.

The kitchen renovation became the true heart of this home and the focal point of our design approach. Functionality came first, but never at the expense of visual appeal. We built in smart storage solutions to maximize space and efficiency, while natural materials like wood and stone add warmth, texture, and character throughout. Every detail from cabinetry to lighting was chosen to strike a modern yet classic look that flows seamlessly into the rest of the home.
